PMA is
a branch of ICUA. The major aim is to
promote the standard of management
skills, and provides students with the
new knowledge and skills to take up
positions in various types of
organizations.
The Association develops
and delivers industry specific management
training, and works with various
professional bodies to develop training
products and materials. We are holding
training seminars in HK, China, Singapore
and Malaysia.
Why is
Management So Important?
About 80% of
Hong Kong's workforce is employed in services
sector. Obviously the service sector is the
largest and fastest growing sectors in Hong Kong.
All major players have recognised the
overwhelming importance of management skills in
Hong Kong and Pearl River Delta. Globalization
and China entry into the World Trade Organisation
will provide unique opportunities in management
and marketing.
Whatever the
size of the business, the effect of these changes
is to make management & marketing ever more
important in enhancing a company's competitive
edge in the globalised business environment.
